These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of Nexa ("we", "us"). They apply whenever you visit the site or use an account, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Fees page and Risk Disclosure, which form part of them.
If a translated version differs from the English one, the English version applies.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if higher, and able to form a binding contract. You're responsible for confirming that using a service like this is lawful where you live before you sign up.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Turn on two-factor authentication and tell us right away if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
Information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date. We may suspend an account where it is not.
We run an anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing programme. As part of it we may at any time ask you to verify your identity, address and the source of your funds, and screen you and your transactions against sanctions lists.
Until requested information is provided, we may limit the account, including holding withdrawals. We may be legally required to report activity to authorities and prohibited from telling you that we have done so.
Nexa is a custodial service: assets you deposit are credited to a balance we hold and administer on your behalf, not to a wallet you control directly. Your balance is a claim against the platform, redeemable through a withdrawal request subject to the review process described on the Security page and in these terms.
Balances are not bank deposits and are not covered by any deposit guarantee scheme.
Send deposits only to the address shown in your account for the selected asset and network. Deposits are credited after the network confirms them, minus any deposit fee shown on the Fees page.
Assets sent on the wrong network, to an old address, or below the minimum amount may not be credited. We may try to recover them at our discretion but are not obliged to.
Swaps fill at the rate displayed when you submit the order. Book orders fill only against matching orders and may fill partially or not at all. Rates track a live market feed by default and may be set by the exchange for a specific asset, in which case that asset is marked on the markets page. We don't guarantee that any posted rate matches another venue's price at the same moment.
A confirmed trade or swap is final. We may reverse a trade only where it resulted from a clear technical error, and will tell you if we do.
Staking locks an asset for the term you choose at the rate shown when you confirm. Rewards are paid in the staked asset at the end of the term. Early unstaking, where offered, may forfeit rewards. The price of the staked asset can fall during the term.
Every withdrawal request is reviewed by a person before funds are released. The amount is reserved from your available balance when you submit. We may decline a request, for example where the destination appears invalid for the selected network, where the account is under review, or where required information is missing. A declined request includes a stated reason and does not incur a fee.
Blockchain transfers cannot be reversed. You are responsible for the destination address and network you enter.
Current fees are published on the Fees page and are incorporated into these terms by reference. The fee shown on the order ticket when you confirm is binding for that operation. Fee changes apply only to activity after the change takes effect.
You agree not to use Nexa to launder money, finance illegal activity, evade sanctions, manipulate markets, or otherwise violate applicable law.
We may suspend, restrict or freeze an account where we reasonably suspect a breach of these terms, fraud, unauthorised access, or where required by law or a competent authority. Where the law allows, we will tell you why and what you can do.
Digital assets are volatile and can lose all of their value. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. You're solely responsible for deciding whether trading or holding a given asset is appropriate for you. The Risk Disclosure page explains the main risks in detail.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nexa is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including losses from market movements, network outages, third-party failures, or delays in withdrawal review. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud.
Raise a complaint through the help center with your account email and the relevant transaction IDs. We acknowledge complaints promptly and aim to give a final answer within 15 business days, or explain why we need longer.
You may close your account at any time after withdrawing your balance. We may close an account for a breach of these terms, suspected fraud or abuse, or as required by law, and will make reasonable efforts to let you withdraw a remaining balance where legally permitted.
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the account before they take effect. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms; if you don't, you may close your account.
Questions about these terms can be sent through the help center or to the legal address listed in the site footer.
